Problematizing Dialogue and Conflict: Current Issues and Intersections in Conflict Resolution

Abstract

This panel will engage the audience in a discussion of dialogue and conflict. We will problematize the standards and practices of CR in light of scholarly work in poststructuralism, postcolonialism, and posthumanism. Our intent is to engage in a dialogue and invite the audience to join us. We are motivated by the notion of the emergent and interested in how a conversational format might create useful conditions for "calling into question," while resisting early closure.
