Abstract

The Quebec Question is one that Canada as faced from the confederation of the country. The part of the question is not simply how English Canada and French Canada deal with each other, but how Quebecois movement addresses the various audiences in its struggle for sovereignty. The essay addresses the seemingly competing ideas of sovereignty from and association with Canada by analyzing Rene Levesque’s “An Option for Quebec.”
