Scholars across a variety of disciplines are currently revisiting the political philosophy of Hannah Arendt. Rhetorical theorists are no exception as communication is perhaps the most central feature of the vita activa. This paper explores three concepts in Arendts thought that are pertinent to rhetorical theory: judgment, responsibility, and forgiveness.
