Session Submission Type: Panel Discussion
Four scholars representing four different nations (Iceland, Japan, Kenya, and Romania) present their research involving U.S. study abroad programs. The discussion involves the examination of U.S. sojourners intercultural experience overseas, how intercultural learning experience through study abroad programs contributes to the transformation of the U.S. students and facultys worldviews, and how the worldviews (e.g., anti-Americanism) of the host nationals is communicated toward the U.S. Americans abroad.
