This panel addresses a variety of pedagogical strategies that apply organization communication theory in ways that foster the professional and evaluative perspectives of students who are studying organizational communication. The papers presented will illustrate that through applied strategies such as student facilitated communication audits, consultancy, service learning, textual analysis, and other practical, hands-on experiences, the students become practitioners of assessment and analysis while also becoming effective agents of change within the organizations they study.
