Communicating Latina/o Worldviews: The Crossroads of Culture and Health

Abstract

As the nation’s largest ethnic minority, one that is often characterized by lower socioeconomic and language barriers, it is important to address trends in healthcare/health campaigns that target this population. This panel will discuss ongoing and recent health communication projects that target Latinas/os to provide insights into effectively reaching or working with this population. A question and answer period will be provided for audience members after the research presentations.
