Abstract

This panel seeks to organize individuals interested in the evaluation and assessment of Urban Debate League (UDL) programs to allow the sharing of information and methodologies across different institutions. It will highlight the challenges faced by researchers working in urban education contexts, the prospects for success of UDL programs nationally, and the possibilities for alternative modes of assessment to expand the scope and quality of research currently being done.
