Abstract

This panel is a call to action. It is designed to spark interest in research, theory-building and practice on the prevention or reduction of deadly interethnic/Intereligious/intercultural conflicts, such as those in Darfur and the Middle East. Communication scholars have a vital role to play in reducing such conflicts. The panel will serve as an important first step for the exchange of ideas, initiation of possible collaborations and the development of new projects.
