Abstract

This panel seeks to engage participants in discussion examining how what many label as the "traditional family structure" is being redefined as queer families continue to have a stronger and more visible presence. The roundtable will engage issues such as patriarchal roles in families, transgender issues, and/or expectations of heteronormativity.
