Session Submission Type: Panel Discussion
This panel explores early anarchism as an opportunity to engage the Communicat[ion of] Worldviews: Faith-Intellect-Ethics, particularly in terms of theoretical standards for ethical and effective communication. Early anarchism challenges prescriptive ethics, commonality, and instrumental (or political) effectiveness, standards which commonly define good communication. By reconsidering anarchism from a more anarchist perspective, panelists widen the theoretical treatment of social movements and the State, democratic rights, tactics of resistance, and rhetorical possibility.
