Abstract

Communication Center and Lab directors from across the country will participate in a roundtable discusion about issues that face the administrative tasks involved in supervision of students, staff, and activities. Panelists represent small and large public and private colleges. Audience participation is encouraged. Topics will include: manageing student consultants, preventing burnout, faculty and administrative status, budget issues, equipment and techonology, curricular design, appointment levels for directors, creating a "face" for the center, gateways and relationships, and ethical dilemmas.
