Session Submission Type: Panel Discussion
Dr. D. Soyini Madison and emerging leaders in the field wrangle with what it means to collect, create and challenge the performance of ones ethnographic work. This multigenerational, multidisciplinary, multiethnic, and multi-institutional group will present short performances and then engage these and each other - depicting, expanding and communicating our world, from the politics and poetics of water to the ethics surrounding the death penalty to rebuilding faith after catastrophe to intellectually questioning the use of the prison system.
