K-12 Standards and Competencies Working Group

Abstract

This is a hands-on session for NCA members who have been working to update the K-12 Speaking, Listening, and Media Literacy Standards and Competencies. It has been over a decade since the Legislative Assembly approved a resolution supporting these standards. This working group has taken on the task of updating these standards to align them with current research and practice. Anyone wanting to join this working group should contact John Heineman at jheine@lps.org prior to the annual meeting.
