This study employs a key-word-in-context content analysis of political talk radio to investigate how this non-traditional medium frames the war in Afghanistan. This research identifies the key words used to discuss the concept of terrorism. Collecting data from a conservative and a liberal political talk radio show, the Lars Larson Show and the Thom Hartmann Program, respectively, this analysis serves as a case study for the role of partisan media in framing conflict motivations.
