Session Submission Type: Paper Session
This paper session bridges empirical workplace bullying-aggression research with possibilities for practical solutions. Panelists include scholars and practitioners who suggest ways to recognize and overcome social biases that can encourage bullying and tap into the collective power of observers to “call out” bullying communication. Others describe educating or re-educating key organizational personnel on using constructive communication skills, identifying and dealing with aggression, and making use of organizational policies in ways that better serve those targeted.
