Abstract

The region, which was the epicenter of the Eurozone crisis and the Arab Spring, a decade ago has experienced success, failures and some very unexpected social, economic developments and transformations. These four papers explore four distinct outcomes, which in part have been affected by the political and economic dimensions of the period and present current challenges and developments.
