56th Annual Meeting 
November 14-16, 2024

We are happy to announce that the Northeastern Political Science Association’s 56th Annual meeting will take place at the historic Omni Parker Hotel in Boston, MA during November 14-16, 2023!

At NPSA, we strive to offer an intimate environment for a vigorous exchange of ideas at reasonable registration rates, which enables us to offer a welcoming space for faculty members and graduate students representing a wide range of institutions.

We welcome you to access our Allacademic submission site to upload your paper, panel, or roundtable proposal, as well as to indicate your availability to serve as a panel chair or discussant. As always, we need volunteers to serve as panel chairs and discussants. So, we hope you will consider offering to volunteer in a service role when you submit a proposal!

The submission deadline is April 15, 2024.

Graduate and undergraduate students are strongly encouraged to submit proposals.

Please note:

• In order to submit a proposal, you will need an Allacademic account. You can create one for free.
• The conference is fully in-person and AV equipment is NOT available. We encourage our participants to bring along handouts for their talks, if they so wish. 

Only one paper submission per person is allowed. However, a paper presenter may also serve as a chair and/or discussant on other panels or as a roundtable participant; faculty members may serve in the additional role of mentor for undergraduate research.

Please submit your paper or panel proposal to the appropriate Section Chair. A list of our Conference Section Chairs is available at northeasternpsa.com.

NPSA will award travel grants by lottery to two graduate students who register for, and participate in, the annual meeting in Boston. Names will be selected at the conference; each student will receive a check for $150 to help offset expenses associated with attending the conference.

Registration for the Annual Conference opens every year on September 1 . Membership also can be renewed at the same time. Discounted rates will be available between September 1 and October 31st.  Travel accommodations can be arranged at any time by the attendees.
