119th Annual Conference on Taxation

The 119th Annual Conference on Taxation will cover a broad range of topics in tax policy and public finance. We welcome submissions from the fields of accounting, economics, law, and public policy and administration, as well as research from other fields or by practitioners that relates to these topics. We especially welcome submissions that can speak to current challenges facing policymakers such as the effect of digitalization/e-commerce/remote work on public finances, minimum taxes and international tax law, the child tax credit and other family policies, and global challenges to government finances.

You are invited to submit the following:

Individual papers to be integrated into sessions.
Complete sessions of papers. Please note that complete session proposals are mere suggestions of groupings. The conference committee reserves the right to consider and accept individual papers from a complete session rather than accepting the complete session. Submitters of complete sessions are required to enter abstracts for each paper in the session.
Panel discussions. Panel discussions are just discussions; they are not based on research papers.

Should your paper be accessible online, please include the URL or a permanent link in the Brief Description for the Program or Full Abstract sections.

The submission deadline is Friday, May 15, 2026. Decisions concerning the inclusion of papers and sessions will be announced over the summer. All presenters, including members of panel discussions, discussants and session chairs, must then register and pay the conference registration fee to attend and present. Graduate students are invited to submit in any category (single papers, complete sessions, and panel discussions).
