Abstract

Feminists have used various means to expose forms of social injustice and oppression. The presenter will discuss teaching D(EVALUATION) of black female beauty in the context of a Feminist Gallery Conversations at the Pennsylvania State University, where the series of gallery talks were audio recorded and made available as podcasts at the Judy Chicago Art Education Collection website.
