Culturally Responsive Math Task revision in Action: A Framework and Tool

Description

Evidence is becoming clearer that culturally responsive/relevant (CR) tasks have significant impacts on children’s learning and efficacy. Indeed, teachers want to improve on making math content that is relevant and meaningful to their students, but may not always know where to start. We present a framework and tool that was made to guide practicing teachers through the process of modifying/adapting a task to be culturally responsive/relevant.
