Session Type: Paper Session
Neuroimaging methods have become a critical tool in the study of child development. This symposium highlights innovations in developmental cognitive neuroscience, including new paradigms and cutting edge strategies for sampling and modeling data. Several papers make use of open datasets or otherwise incorporate open science practices. Other papers make strides in connecting neuroimaging data to the real world, or take aim at gold standard assessments of within-individual neural changes using longitudinal designs. The papers tackle brain structure, function, and connectivity; and span from fetal development to late adolescence.
