Session Type: Paper Session
Parenting affects child executive functioning (EF) development through multiple pathways but these are not well-articulated. This set of papers examines parent factors (e.g., parent EF) and family social context factors (e.g., room-sharing) on the development of EF across childhood. Each of the parent / family factors examined is potentially modifiable, thus there are implications for interventions to improve child EF growth.
