This symposium explores the nature of children's biases toward own- and other-group members and examines strategies for reducing bias and prejudice among children. The first paper explores children's biases regarding members of their own and other ethnic/racial groups using an experimental design. The second and third papers introduce interventions to reduce bias and prejudice among children.
