The three papers in this session take examine three differing set of policies that are intended to support low-income children and families. The papers critically examine the issues related to the existing child care subsidy and nutritial assistance programs, as well as proposed policy of paid family leave. These papers provide insights into how policies can be reformed or improved to better serve low-income children and families.
