This symposium will examine the multiple perspectives on social networking in childhood and adolescence. The authors of the four papers will examine social networking across different age periods, including early childhood and adolescences as well as multiple contexts, including peers and the classroom. A particular emphasis will be on how these networks influence participation and peer victimization during development.
