Wed, April 7, 11:35am to 1:05pm EDT (11:35am to 1:05pm EDT), Virtual

Session Type: Flash Talk Session

Abstract

Lexical development is shaped by a linguistic environment embedded in a larger learning environment. These flash talks examine features of children’s language learning environment including language input, cues to word meaning, co-occurrences, and distributional diversity, that arise in the interactions between children and caretakers, and potential mechanisms that make use of components of the language learning environment.
