Welcome to the Woman Business Leader of the Year award website.
The Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the 2013 Woman Business Leader of the Year. The award will honor a successful woman business owner or primary manager for her business success, career achievements and contributions to the community.
The nominee will be selected based on the following criteria:
Business Accomplishments
Nominee has demonstrated excellence, creativity and/or initiative in her business or profession. Nominee must be in business for more than 3 years and business must be located in the Eugene/Springfield area.
Leadership
Nominee will be rated on any of the following: personal accountability and results; mentoring or coaching others; impact on customer, client, and/or employee satisfaction; impact on the quality of services/products; or impact on the growth of the business.
Community Involvement
Nominees will be considered for any local, state, national, or international level participation, including length of service and offices held in civic and service organizations such as charitable activities, religious groups, business associations, etc.
The Woman Business Leader of the Year recipient will be named at the November Women Business Leaders luncheon on Thursday, November 14, 2013. During the ceremony from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Eugene Hilton we will honor the top finalists as well as announce the winner.
